All services are by appointment only.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

• Provide accurate personal and pet information

• Ensure their cat meets all boarding requirements, including vaccinations (FVRCP), spay/neuter status, trimmed claws, and non-aggressive behaviour

• Disclose all medical conditions, medications, and relevant behavioural notes

• Follow all policies and instructions provided by Healing Pines Cat Retreat

Booking & Payment

• Payment policies are provided during booking.

• Appointments are confirmed only when the booking is complete.

• Cancellations or changes may be subject to fees based on our cancellation policy (you can add details later if you want).

Health & Safety

We may refuse service to any cat that displays aggression, poses a safety risk, or does not meet the boarding requirements.
We accept cats who require medication, except those requiring subcutaneous IV fluids or similar treatments.

In emergencies, we may seek veterinary care at your expense.

Energy Healing Disclaimer

Energy healing services are:

• For relaxation, stress reduction, and wellness support

• Not a replacement for medical or veterinary care

• Not diagnostic or prescriptive

Clients must consult their medical/veterinary professionals for health concerns.

Liability

While we take all reasonable steps to provide a safe, clean, and caring environment, Healing Pines Cat Retreat is not liable for:

• Injuries resulting from pre-existing conditions

• Illness, stress-related symptoms, or unforeseen medical issues

• Damage caused by client negligence or withheld information

You agree not to misuse or disrupt the website or services.

Boarding Requirements

By signing, you confirm that your cat meets all requirements:

✔ FVRCP vaccination is current
✔ Cat is spayed/neutered
✔ Claws are trimmed prior to boarding
✔ Cat is not aggressive toward humans or other animals
✔ No subcutaneous IV fluid requirements
✔ All medical needs have been accurately disclosed

Healing Pines Cat Retreat does not accept aggressive cats. If aggressive behaviour is discovered during the stay, you may be required to pick up your cat immediately.

Medication Policy

We accept cats requiring medication except those needing:

• Subcutaneous IV bags

• Fluid therapy injections

All medications must be provided in their original labeled container.

Emergency Care

If your cat requires urgent veterinary care:

• We will attempt to contact you immediately

• If unavailable, we will act in your cat’s best interest

• All related costs are your responsibility

Personal Items

You may bring blankets, toys, or bedding.
We are not liable for lost or damaged items.

Behaviour

If your cat becomes excessively stressed or unsafe to handle, we may:

• Adjust care for their comfort

• Request early pickup

• Refuse future services if necessary

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

All drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only.

Clients must arrive on time or communicate delays.

Liability Waiver

While we provide a safe, clean, and monitored environment, you understand that:

• No facility can guarantee the complete absence of illness or injury

• Stress-related symptoms or minor injuries may occur

• Pre-existing conditions are the owner’s responsibility

You release Healing Pines Cat Retreat from liability for:

• Illness, injury, or death due to undisclosed conditions

• Issues related to age, stress, or medical history

• Emergency veterinarian costs

Client Responsibility

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Communicate any discomfort during the session

• Continue seeing medical providers as needed

• Use your own judgment regarding intuitive or spiritual insights received
